Trip report on our summer vacation to Switzerland, Austria and Germany

This is a trip report of our 2013 trip to Switzerland, Austria and Germany. The players involved in this romp include myself, my wife Dawn, three teenage kids, Alex, 18, Sarah, 16 and Emily 16, and my cousin Mitch who travels with us as much as he can stand by BS.

Our basic itinerary:

July 9th
Depart Los Angeles

July 10th
Arrive Geneva, Switzerland
Kids will attend a leadership camp for 7 days in Leysin, Switzerland

Dawn, Mitch and I will stay in Lucerne, Switzerland for 3 nights and in Wengen, Switzerland, for 4 nights.

July 17th
Pick up kids in Leysin and train to Zurich

July 18th
Train to Salzburg where we will stay for 2 nights
While in Salzburg, we are renting motorcycles for a day to take a trip to Berchtesgaden and Hitler's Eagles Nest as well as other stops in the Bavarian Alps.

July 20th
Train to Munich
While in Munich, we will travel to Dachau to visit the former Nazi Concentration camp.

July 22nd
Fly home
